Lindy H. Lewis attended the University of Tennessee at Martin and the University of Memphis for her undergraduate studies. She then attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, where she graduated in May 1994. During her training, Dr. Lewis completed externships with emphasis in ocular pathology at the former Omega Eye Center in Jackson, Tennessee, and at the former Van Dyke Eye Center in Paris, Tennessee.
After graduation, Dr. Lewis joined the Eye Care Clinic of West Tennessee, PC, working at the Jackson location. When the practice merged in 2005 to form the Eye Care Group, PLLC, Dr. Lewis continued in the Jackson office, as well as in the Humboldt location. Dr. Lewis has extensive training and background in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases, including glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and anterior segment disease. In 2014, Dr. Lewis received Board Certification from the American Board of Optometry, a distinction of her continued commitment to quality eye care and pursuit of lifelong learning.
In Dr. Lewis’ spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Tim, and their four children, Chad, Kyle and his wife Morgan, Seth, and Erin. She enjoys traveling, going to the beach, and working with the youth groups from her church.
